This month a significant Longines fake watch belonging to Oskar Schindler was auctioned by a price of 46,303 dollars. Oskar schindler (1908-1974) was the original character in the film “Schindler’s List”. Although he was a Nazi, he saved more than 1,100 Jewish workers from being slaughtered by the Nazis through bribery and other means during the Second World War.
The auctioned Longines was a simple copy watch with black leather strap ref.4914 and the steel case and leather strap were scratched a lot. The dial slightly yellowed and the hands and hour markers were gold.
In addition to the wristwatch, the Sudetenland Medal, a compass, two pens and a wooden business card had been auctioned together with the wristwatch too. They were all Schindler’s wife’s belongings.
